Sustainability

In an increasingly sustainability-oriented world, it is crucial for companies to commit to pursuing a green transition.

There are many initiatives undertaken by our group aimed at reducing our environmental impact.

From development to manufacturing, and to the distribution of our products around the world, we have always invested in creating a sustainable path that involves not only our employees, but also our suppliers and partners.

Our concern for the environment extends to a careful selection of raw materials with low environmental impact, to guarantee an eco-friendly production chain from the earliest stages, as well as a proper waste and recycling management.

We have implemented an extensive system of photovoltaic panels at our sites that powers a significant portion of our energy needs, while reducing emissions.

Furthermore, we promote the well-being of our employees through a corporate Welfare plan, work-study programs, training courses, and initiatives that support health and quality of life.

Through these initiatives, our aim is to contribute to build a sustainable future, while creating an ever-evolving group. For these reasons, we are proud to present our sustainability report, an essential tool to demonstrate our daily commitment.

FRA.BO AND RUBINETTERIE BRESCIANE AT CHILLVENTA 2024

Rubinetterie Bresciane and the Bonomi Group will once again be exhibiting at Chillventa 2024, the largest international HVAC/R trade fair, which will be held in Nuremberg from 8 to 10 October and will bring together more than 30,000 visitors and 850 exhibitors from over 43 countries.

The Fra.Bo range includes a wide range of products that meet the most advanced requirements of the refrigeration, air-conditioning and ventilation market, guaranteeing reliability, efficiency and sustainability. Among the series on display in hall 5 stand 5-136 will be:

FRABO 4000: characterised by fittings with bronze weld end, available in different sizes (from 6 to 108 mm) and compliant with UNI EN 1254-1 and threaded end manufactured following EN 10226-1. FRABO 5000OT: threaded fittings made of high-quality brass and available in the size range from 1/4’ to 3’ in compliance with EN 10226-1 and UNI EN 1254-4. FRABO G-SIZE: copper Cu-DHP soldered fittings designed and manufactured for soldered joints subject to high working pressure or severe mechanical stress. Size ranges from 22 to 133 mm. FRABO 5000: copper Cu-DHP soldered fittings available in several sizes (6 and 133 mm) and manufactured by the requirements of European standard UNI EN 1254-1. FRABO FRIO: copper Cu-DHP solder fittings in the 1/4' to 4’1/8 size range conforming to ASME B 16.22 and suitable for VRV-VRF air conditioning systems and industrial refrigeration applications.

During the event, Rubinetterie Bresciane will preview the new FRABO POLAR series: high-strength CuFe weld fittings designed for high-pressure refrigeration applications up to 130 bars. The FRABOPOLAR series of fittings are particularly suitable for CO₂ (R-744) in transcritical applications.

The FRABO POLAR series was developed to meet the growing need for components capable of withstanding the high operating pressures associated with CO₂ (R-744). Thanks to its low environmental impact (ODP of zero and GWP of one), making it a very environmentally friendly refrigerant, CO₂ (R-744) is increasingly being used in commercial refrigeration systems, particularly those for large-scale retail plants. FRABO POLAR fittings are perfect under these conditions as they guarantee high mechanical strength, safety and reliability.

The participation in Chillventa 2024 represents an important opportunity for Rubinetterie Bresciane to consolidate its leadership in the HVAC/R sector and to interact with the main global players in the market.
